Adam Randle Hall

With deepest sorrow we announce that Adam Randle Hall of Salt Lake City, Utah passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday April 19th, 2024. He was 41 years old. He was born on February 20, 1983 to Ronda Sue and Martin K. Hall.

Those who knew Adam know he loved deeply, created much, questioned everything, thought deeply, debated passionately, played hard, advocated for the downtrodden, spoke articulately, and staunchly guarded essential relationships.

Adam joined his mother in heaven after her death from cancer in 2022. He loved her deeply and missed her incredibly. She guided, nurtured, protected, mentored, sacrificed, and loved him beyond life itself.

He will be missed by his Father, Martin K. Hall of Fairview, Utah, and his five siblings; his Sister Amber Mower (Caleb) of Manti, Utah, his brother Tyler Hall (Amanda) of Springville, Utah, his sister Jessica Christensen (Jordan) of Kaysville, Utah, his sister Alyssa Forbush (Eric) of Fairview, Utah and his brother Spencer Hall of Salt Lake City, Utah, his grandfather Randle Romney of Panguitch, Utah, many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nephews, Nieces and many great friends.

Adam had a passion for learning all things and graduated from the University of Utah with a dual degree in Peace and Conflict Studies and Gender Studies. He graduated Magna Cum Laude. He also attended Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. Many educators, counselors and students helped to mentor Adam on his educational journey. And he in turn brought serious thought, a questioning attitude, levity, passion and a collaborative effort to assist those he met on his educational journey. As a student and because of his passion and dedicated desire to learn and share, he was selected to participate in an International Peace and Conflict Symposium at Oxford University with students from all over the world.

He was a talented writer and musician who played the guitar and piano and created many of his own compositions. He loved many musical genres, from classical, jazz, hip hop, rap, rock and soul. He was a creative thinker, worked in film productions and loved the arts, particularly creative works of a multi-cultural and international flavor.

To nearly every discussion Adam brought multiplicity of thought, ideas and theories, both self-ascribed and borrowed from various scholars, politicians, philanthropists, societal and civic leaders, religious and non-religious, modern and ancient. He studied all things in great depth, sought information from many sources on a daily basis, formed strong opinions, but was also willing to change his thought based on well thought out arguments from others.

Adam loved animals and all things of the natural world. He found peace in this love and sought greater enlightenment through his bond with the simple yet splendid creations and beauty of this world, and all living things there on.

Adam struggled with a life long illness which inflicted much suffering into his life but enabled him to recognize the pain in others more clearly. He had a special affinity for the disadvantaged and down trodden souls of this earth and advocated for many. He loved the innocence of children and was a loving uncle to 11 nieces and nephews.

Adam was unique, talented, challenging, complicated, loving, giving and intellectual soul. His humor, wit and charm blessed many. His passion and desire to change the world the way he saw best drove his thoughts frequently and could place him at odds with others. But those who truly know Adam realize his passion was always well intended and frequently centered on making life’s journey better for all.

Funeral services will be held at the Mt. Pleasant North Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, on Friday, April 26th at 11:00 am at 461 North, 300 West, in Mt. Pleasant, Utah.

Family and friends may call at the same location from 9:00-10:30 am that same morning.

Adam will be interred next to his mother Ronda Sue in the Fairview City Cemetery located in Fairview, Utah West on 100 North Cemetery Road.

The family would like to thank all who blessed Adam in his life, for there are many. He could not have become who he is without the love, knowledge, compassion, and mentoring of many. You know who you are and we love you for it. Thank you for your love and service to Adam and our family.
