Terry helped me coach high school wrestling on Okinawa in the early 1990s when his 3 youngest daughters were babies. He was a faithful friend and a smart guy who never tried to get glory for himself but was always thinking about how to promote the team's progress. I wanted to send condolences to his wife, but she's not mentioned in the obituary, but I hope his family is well and has great memories of him.

Terry's family,

I'm so sorry for your loss. I just read about his passing online. I served with Terry at Camp Lejeune in '83-'84. Our battery (TAB 10th Marines) wasn't a tight-knit unit, but I called him in '08 when I was driving through Oklahoma. After more than 20 years, he invited me to his home, and we talked for a couple of hours. Same Terry; always ready to make time for his fellow Marines and share stories with them. Last July ('20), I spoke with Terry on the phone for almost an hour. He told me he traveled frequently, and might have the chance to stop through KS on his way back to OK. Instead, I'll remember him from CLNC, full of youth, energy, and wisdom; driving his red Jeep CJ.

I know this comment is late, but I was not aware of T.K.'s passing, it was one of his friends and teammates that texted me just an hour ago. I was his coach at Labette Community College (Parsons, Ks) . A little over one year ago, he made the trip back to Parsons to visit with his teammates out of the 1970's. He was the same guy, telling stories and entertaining those there. I can still hear his laughter in my mind. I have a sad heart, and would like to express my condolences to his family and close friends. Once a Cardinal always a Cardinal. T.C.O.B., R.I.P. T.K.
