​It is with great sadness, that the family of Steven Craig Fivas announce his passing on Wednesday August 5th, 2020. Steve died at the age of 71 years old. Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away with his children by his side.

​He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Diana, brother Paul, sister Kim, and his 4 children Mikal, Jason, Austin, and Gentry, and his grandchildren Abigail, Levi, Jesse, Collin, Dominik, Brooke, Jordan, Kayden, Hailey, and Ashton, that he loved dearly.

​Steve was born on May 13th, 1949 to Raymond Artimus Fivas and Julia Adamson Fivas. He enlisted in the United States Army, and served honorably during the Vietnam war. After the military, he spent most of his years working for the Union Pacific Railroad.

​Steve truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures by chatting with family, and friends, and will be most remembered for his humor, dedication to family, and his love for classical 60's music, playing around with his dogs, going to yard sales, collecting coupons, and finding deals, He loved spending time with his family watching his favorite shows NCIS,The Masked Singer, ghost stories, and America's Got Talent.

​Steve was a devoted father who had the heart of a giant, and was an immovable rock for his kids. He would take great pride at being the world's most stubborn man, “I’ll kick yo ASS!” “When you’re hot, you’re hot!” and yet only his kids could persuade him to do anything. He had the uncanny ability to reach people in a deep, and positive way, and was always there for anyone who needed his help without question.

​Although Steve is gone, some of our favorite actions and phrases will be used by his children and grandchildren to keep his memory alive like leaving very long, and informative voicemails, practical jokes, and using his very humorous catch phrase "I'll kick your ass" or “when you’re hot, you’re hot!”

​Steve will be buried at Camp Williams in Bluffdale, Utah, and honored for his service with an American Flag, at his request no funeral or viewing services will be held.

Steve was truly loved, and will be sorely missed.
