Patty C Archuletta, age 73, passed away on June 29, 2020 in her home in West Jordan, Utah. She was born on December 5, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ursulita “Sele” Leyba. Patty married Robert Archuletta on July 4, 1978.
Patty loved listening to music (especially Elvis Presley) and Spanish music. She enjoyed coloring, playing games with her grandchildren, and collecting Elvis memorabilia. Patty loved working at the Junior High School in the cafeteria.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Archuletta; her children Machelle (Ron), Margaret (Kevin), Katherine (Greg), Laura (Dennis), Angela, Tommy (Deni), and Robert Jr.; her grandchildren Collin, Jose, Angelica, Brandy, Brooke, Allen, Steven, Chevelle, Tiffany, Melanie, Jace, Kylie, Bobby; and her many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Patty is preceded in death by her grandfather who she adored; her mother Sele, and aunts and uncles.
An evening viewing will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. Funeral service will be on Monday, July 6, 2020 at 2:00 PM with a viewing two hours prior beginning at 12:00 PM. Interment to follow. All services are at the same location.
Due to COVID-19, all gatherings are limited to no more than 50 people at a time. Due to this, Memorial Mortuaries and Cemeteries is offering a free live stream of the services for you to participate in the funeral from your own home. At this time, Salt Lake County has a mandatory face covering/mask requirement, and Memorial Mortuaries and Cemeteries is abiding to this standard.
