Our sweet mom’s love and care for her children and grandchildren was unmatched, and every one of them knew and felt her unconditional love. She was always found doing special things for them and had a way of making each one feel special and valued. The scriptures say that “where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” For our mom, there was no question as to her greatest treasure. Undoubtedly, her love for her family is her greatest legacy and the most important thing in her life. Her example has taught each of us the true importance of life and what it means to love as Christ did.

Our mom was blessed with a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and this sustained her through the many challenges and struggles she faced. Her life was spent in the care and service of others, rarely if ever considering her own needs or wants. She truly understood the happiness found in the service of others. Words can’t express our deep sorrow and immense love for our dear mom. We will forever have imprinted in our hearts her undeniable and abounding love. We know we will see you again sweet momma and what a reunion that will be.

Mindi Roark is survived by her four children: Brandi Morf (Jason), Tyler Phillips, (Jennifer), Bartt Phillips (Charisse), and Rashae Tillotson (Matthew); 11 grandchildren: Cambree Morf, Carlee Bennett, Jair Barahona, Jaden Phillips, Jonah Phillips, Callie Phillips, Preston Phillips, Berklee Phillips, Harper Tillotson, Graham Tillotson, and Tanner Tillotson; and sisters: Tamina Ridd (Randall), Robyn Roark, Roxie Roark, and Marta Smith. She is preceded in death by her mother Leta Roark, father Martin Gross Roark Jr, and oldest sister Tonia Colton.

I would like to express my deepest condolences to Mindi's family and pray that the Lord will support and comfort you through your loss. My wife and I did not know Mindi really well but we were able to share some sweet moments with her and I feel that we were able to be in the right place at the right time to help and comfort her. We sat next to her at a party and , I'm not positive, but I am pretty sure, that Bev and I were some of the very first people with whom Mindi shared her devastating test and biopsy results. I feel that we were able to offer some comfort to her as there were lots of tears, hand holding, hugs, and encouragement. I am very thankful for the hour or two that we were able to spend with her and for the sweet spirit and grace that she showed, even in the face of awful news. What a wonderful woman, role model, and Mother, please take comfort in knowing that you will see her again !
