The adventure began when Ha Ngo Trang was born on July 21, 1957 to Van Ngoc Trang and Chan Thi Phan in Saigon, Vietnam where Ha and her siblings grew up. As a girl she loved exploring the outdoors and reading about science-related books, both hobbies she never grew out of. In her youth, she had many hardships that she had faced in Vietnam.

A few years after graduating from a high school in Vietnam, Ha moved to San Diego where she attended San Diego State University studying Electrical Engineering. She was later married to Ha Ngo and they moved to Salt Lake City, UT where she started her career. A talented leader and hard worker, she met countless wonderful people throughout her career that would become a second family to her. In her young adult life, when Ha wasn’t working, she was always looking for something to do whether it was helping out her family or donating her time and necessities to families in need. Among her favorite things to do were gardening, sewing, piano, traveling, and other fun adventures.

Ha would later share her love for adventuring with her closest family members, Tina, Vina, Linh, and Ha. Ha passed away from cancer on May 11, 2020. In addition, Ha is survived by: her husband, Ha Ngo; brothers. Trang Thanh, An Trang; sisters: Sang Trang, Huong Trang, Lan Trang, Diep Trang; sister’s in law, Linh Tran, Nguyen Loan; brother’s in law: Kiet Ngo, Joe Miller; nieces Tina Ngo, Vina Ngo, Audrey Trang, Angelina Trang; nephews Andrew Trang, Tuan Do, David Pham, and Alexander Miller. Thank you for sharing this obituary about Ha's life. She has overcome so much, coming from the difficulties of her youth in Vietnam. What a wonderful legacy she has left with memories of her service to others, the talents she developed and her academic accomplishments and career.

It is wonderful to see the good that can be accomplished by those who strive for continual growth. Sometimes the growth comes in learning lessons from illness that one never thought one would - or that one does not deserve. Her goodness remains, in her soul - nothing can take that away. May she be with those she loves again is my wish.
