Geri lived with us during her high school years. She was like a sister to me. I missed her very much when she left us to go back to Utah.

My thoughts are with you guys during this time of loss. Geri was a great lady, and she will be greatly missed. Roy and Geri always welcomed me to their home and even some family activities like a camping trip when I was attending college out of state in SLC. As my mother mentioned, they became like my SLC grandparents during this time. Geri will be greatly missed, but its comforting to know that she is in peace now under the care of Jesus. I pray that you guys can heal and soon your sorrow will be replaced by the joy of all the fond memories that you guys had together.

Aunt Geri always made us feel special and loved. She was fun to be around and listen to what she had to say. I remember when your parents stopped by to visit our family during a reunion in 2006. It was fun to listen to her and my mom chat again. We loved Aunt Geri and were saddened to hear of her loss. Thanks for making it possible for the Wall family to view the funeral through Zoom. She was an amazing lady!!!

Our thoughts are with all of you as you feel the loss of Geri. I can still hear her beautiful laugh. We have so many memories with the Shaw family that span over 50 years. Our first family memories with the family was when all of us "children" of the Shaw's and Skinner's spent Thanksgiving together back in 1970. We had many camping trips together as we grew up. Geri was very welcoming to Jennifer Day, my daughter, when she attended Westminster in SLC. Jennifer said "Geri was like a grandmother to me." God's angel force just received a marvelous and joyous angel.

Hugs to uncle Roy and the Shaw family. We haven’t seen Geri for a long time but we have loved our memories with her. I remember she made me feel instantly welcome into the Shaw family we first got married. I always looked forward to the reunions and camping at bear lake. Geri always has us laughing. I remember her on the boat having a great time. Thinking of all of you at this time and hope you can find the tender mercies in a difficult time and the love we have for all of you.

Wish we could have been there today.

We are going to miss you Geri. We are sorry that you've had constant pain in the past 20 years. We know that you are in a wonderful place, where you won't have any more pain You've been a wonderful friend that we will cherish forever. We love you. We will be praying for you Roy and your family to help bring the comfort that you no doubt will need. We are happy that Geri is at peace now, but sorry that we will not have her around to talk with and laugh with.

Aunt Jerri was so fun to be around and always made us feel good about ourselves. She was a great example of Christ like service. It was fun to get together at Grandpa Shaw’s or reunions. I really miss those times. Uncle Roy our thoughts today are for you and your wonderful family. We pray for comfort of the spirit. Kathie, grandkids and I are camping at Island Park and I saw Aunt Natalies Facebook page with Aunt Jeri’s obituary this morning. It got me thinking about all of us camping and boating with my Dad, Mom, Grandpa and Grandma Shaw at Palisades. It was so fun. We sure love you. Mike Shaw

My favorite memory of Aunt Geri is when her, Grandma, and my mom were sitting outside in the patio giggling like school girls over what, I have no idea, but they seem to be having a blast. Geri always had a smile, a spunky attitude, and great story to tell. She showed interest and love for all of us, especially after Grandma died and my mom’s world tipped on its side. She was so good to my mom, and they continued to share their lives after we moved to Arizona. She was a blessing and I will be forever grateful for Aunt Geri.

We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Geri. I can still remember meeting her at the age of 10, ---OK she knew me as a baby, and seeing my mom and Geri laugh and carry on like to young school girls. I had never seen my mom laugh so hard and just enjoy being with another person so much! We are forever grateful for all of Geri and Roy's kindnesses to us and our family! Grateful she is no longer in pain. Praying for peace for you and your family! What a legacy she has left.
