Evelyn Jean Smith age 74 passed away peacefully June 18, 2020. She was born on October 16, 1945, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Edna and Clarence Nipper.
Evelyn was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. They are what kept her going during her three bouts of cancer, which she had successfully conquered. She was a devout Christian, loved God and her Savior. She was a kind and generous person who would always think of others and their needs before her own.
Evelyn’s favorite past time was hanging out with her dear sisters and her brother, Gale, sipping coffee, and laughing. For the last three years of her life, she cherished her Eight o’clock nightly phone calls with her only daughter, Ronda Allred. Her pride and joy were the times she spent with her son’s and delighting in their success and happiness in their lives, she was immensely proud of each one them.
We want to give a special thanks to all those who took time out of their busy schedules to help Mom grocery shop, take her to her doctor’s appointments, and visiting her during her times of need (you know who you are.)
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Ronda Allred, her three sons, Kelly Nipper, Ronald Snow and Sonny Snow, one brother, Gale Nipper, three of her four sisters, June Workman, Charlotte Cook, Linda Caster and (previously passed sister Barbara Caster). She also had eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Mom, we will always love and cherish you, thank you for all your sacrifices and all the fond memories.
