Daniel "Dan" Paul Farrimond

Our beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, Daniel “Dan” Paul Farrimond, Age 61, passed away at his childhood home on May 21, 2020 after he courageously battled cancer, but lost. Dan was born on April 16, 1959 to John and Arlene Farrimond. He is the fourth child of eight children.

He loved anything outdoors and fishing was his favorite hobby. He also enjoyed racing, working in his yard, hunting for rocks and just sitting in the sun. He was a brick mason for over 40 years, and was always a handyman. There was not much Dan could not repair. He worked hard, and he played hard.

Dan was very kind, always the first to lend a hand, funny, smart, and very loyal.

Dan is the proud father of Zach Farrimond and Dani (Roman) Close, and adored his three grandchildren. He is the brother of Diane Baurd, John (Kae) Farrimond, Jim (Cindy) Farrimond, Shauna (John) Corless, Gerrit Farrimond, Carl (Cindy) Farrimond, and David Farrimond.

He is proceeded in death by his father John Farrimond, brother David Farrimond, sister-in-law Cindy Farrimond, and girlfriend Dawn Sears.

A graveside celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 29, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.
