On Wednesday, August 5th, our dear Colby was called to be an Angel. He was 32 years old and had so much life to live.
Colby was born on May 14th, 1988, at Pioneer Valley Hospital. For the first few years it was just Colby and his beloved mother, Tery. Eventually, Tery met a wonderful man, Bob. They got married on November 25th, 2000. The three of them soon moved to Saratoga Springs. While there Colby attended Lehi High School and graduated in 2006.
After high school Colby went on to be a very skilled and experienced mechanic. He loved to take things apart, figure out how they worked, and put them back together. He often used these skills to help family and friends.
In 2012, Colby came home with the most adorable golden lab, Mary Jane. They went everywhere together. If Colby was coming to visit it was expected that Mary Jane was coming, too. A couple of years later Colby met his girlfriend, Saline. They had been living out their lives in Salt Lake City.
Those that knew him well can remember how his smile could light up the room. When he laughed you couldn’t help but laugh with him. And, that wild and crazy hair, well that was just Colby.
Colby was a generous man. He was generous with his time, love, and kindness. “He was distinctly himself. When he was gone, there could be no one that could take his place.”
Everyone that crossed paths with him was left for the better. He was that guy that was always there and no favor was ever too big. No one can replace the positive impact he left on everyone’s life. He will be deeply missed.
Colby is survived but his parents, Tery and Bob Davis; Grandmother Sadie Brothers; brother James Davis; sisters Deserie (Damion) Harper, Nichole Garcia, Amanda Paddock, and Lashelle Cordova; his girlfriend Saline Facer; cousins Angelic Martinez, Chantel Castillo, and Christopher Ostenburg; his canine companion Mary Jane; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers Timmy Cordova and Edward Brothers; his aunt Tamme Ostenburg, and his uncle Troy Cordova.
A viewing in his honor will be held on August 13th, 2020 at 10-11am.
Funeral services to follow.

This was so sad. There were many of us hoping he’d pull through.
I wanted to be able to visit him so that he was alone but darn that Covid.
I am so sorry for your loss, he seemed like a wonderful person.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
I am so sorry for your loss, prayers to the whole family
Still can't believe he's gone, my heart aches for Terry and Bob.... Can't imagine what they're going through. Colby had a smile that could light up any room.... Will never forget holding him as a baby, telling my mom and dad and Terry how heavy his head was 😂 to this day I called him "heavy head" when I would say that to him he would chuckle and smile.... Going to miss you so much "heavy head" you will forever be in my heart ❤️
May you rest in peace Colby 🙏
