Clarence Reed Davis passed away on March 31, 2020 at Rocky Mountain Care Center in Murray, Utah. He was the youngest of 3 children.
He was born on January 29, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Clarence Franklin Davis and Lily Kartchner Davis.
He grew up in Salt Lake City and attended Murray Highschool, where he graduated. He is survived by his 2 brothers, children, and grandchildren.
He was a member of the church of Jesus Christ & Latter-Day Saints. He served a mission in his youth.
Reed was a kind, funny, big-hearted man who was always cracking jokes and making people laugh. He loved singing, doing crossword puzzles, and movies. He was a man who was always willing to help his family whenever he could, an always put others first, never asking for anything in return. He loved his children and grandchildren very much. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Reed always had a passion for cars and working on them. He made a career out of it, working at various big-name dealerships until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sons Preston Tyler Davis and Daniel Reed Davis.
Due to the current health situation in the United States, no funeral services will be taking place. Instead, cremation and interment to follow at a later time.
I worked right next to Reed for several years at Ken Garff. He was a great friend and the kindest man you will ever meet. He had some of the hardest trials a person could ever have to face in life yet he still carried on and somehow found a way to lift others.
Your reunion with your son must be overwhelming. God Bless you Reed.
