She was reunited with her husband Charles Lester Sorge Sr, parents, siblings Rex, Glen, Wilma, Betty, Blanch, and Geniel. Her family is complete once again.

Carol was married to Charles Lester Sorge Sr. on May 25, 1956 in Tooele, Utah. She traveled around the country with him while he was serving out his military duties until settling down in Salt Lake City (Rose Park), Utah in 1964.

She was a member of the LDS Church and was able to fulfill one of her life dreams and was endowed in the Salt Lake Temple on September 20, 2008.

She loved to crochet with her sisters and friends in their knitting club. She loved to bowl, in fact, she met her husband in the bowling alley while he was stationed at the Deseret Chemical.

Carol was known as the neighborhood Avon lady – she sold Avon for many years. No matter the holiday or time of year, everyone knew what gift they were getting from Carol.

Carol is survived by her sons Charles Jr. (Marji), Larry (Laura); grandchildren Erinn, Jason, Nicholas, Devin, Emily, Julie, Richard, Jennifer, and Heather; and 11 great grandchildren.

We would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph’s Villa for taking care of mom through the years.

Carol was a great lady. The cats used to drive her crazy. But she still loved them. She was so happy. She was able to attend the temple! RIP Carol!

Carol was a great friend, whose friendship I did enjoy. The Bridges family welcomed us Hunts to their family after Mother with 4 Hunts married Glenn Bridges. They were a great family. Although we drifted apart after her parents died, I have always had great respect for the way thy treated us.
